UKBA Codes of Practice for points based Tier 2 sponsored workers

The UK Border Agency has published codes of practice for Tier 2 (sponsored skilled workers) of the Points Based System.

Employers who want to sponsor a skilled migrant, must use the codes of practice to check the skill level and appropriate rate for the job, and for advice on where to advertise the job.

The codes of practice are available in the ‘How do I sponsor a migrant?’ section for employers and sponsors.

With Tier 2 expected to start at the end of November, employers looking to recruit new non-EU migrant workers or renew existing Work Permits after this date must register as sponsors.
