IN ALL TENSE AND PURPOSES THE IDEA OF THE WEDDING WAS TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR HIM TO VARY HIS STAY AND MOVE AWAY FROM BEING AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRENT. TO ARREST HIM MINUTES BEFORE HE WEDS AND BEFORE HE QUALIFIES UNDER ARTICLE 8 OF THE ECHR WAS UNFAIR AND INSENSITIVE. UNLESS THE UKBA HAS REALISED THAT THE WEDDING WAS AS A RESULT OF A SHAM MARRIAGE THEN THEY WILL HAVE BEEN SURELY JUSTIFIED TO STOP IT. THIS ACTION AMOUNTS TO INTERFERENCE WITH THE PRIVATE LIFE AND THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE.IT IS A TOTAL BREACH OF HUMAN RIGHTS.

Interesting. So an overstayer applies for a COA and is granted it, but is arrested before he can get married. Since he will qualify under 320 (b) to reapply immediately, what was the point of this? Could it be that UKBA are peeved since they can no longer charge for COAs? Or is it another way to make more money as people are separated and have to pay to return? UKBA were probably acting illegally IF this was a genuine partnership. This is because it could be argued that the couple had a recognised partnership (marriage is NOT required) and that is known in immigration law. They simply needed to prove that they had a lasting partnership. If on the other had UKBA had strong grounds that it was a sham wedding, then they were acting legally…

regardless as to what all of you do gooders say they do cause unemployment and live like 15 guys in a 1 bedroom flat. I have seen it and it first hand and it is disgusting. I myself am a British Citizen, 27 years old, engaged and we have COA and am planning on marrying the man I love. Yeha!
Sadly that couple also must have had a COA to get married, so why dear lord did the the Home Office put these poor people in this position? What they should have said here is, we allowed this couple to apply for a COA, they went through the process, we asked for additional information, affidavits, photos, love letters etc, all were provided and we GAVE PERMISSION TO MARRY. SO why issue the COA? why not save the bother and refuse the COA? The geeza gave an address on the COA form, why not just refuse and go to his house and explain the crack and do whatever needed to be done in a decent and dignified way? There was a woman standing, with flowers… on the day they’ve looked forward to for possibly years… makes me so sad… in a dress, watched by all there friends and family…what was the UKBA staff thinking…?!?! do you think they laughed about it after? Its perotas here i would like to inform you about a illegal job and people in hotels.I found this information during my stay.The owner has hotels in central london they are paying to the staff £3/hour cash in hand and all are from berma,india,bolevia,poland and they are students/overstayer/asylum seeker working on full time and owner is living in outside london,no management everything is running on fax and phone .If you ask to the staff they are manager and they are receptionist as well .They donot have any contact with owner except fax.Hotels are running under kasaka group. Hotels are very poor in condition and against the health and safety law back of the hotels or in the basement alots of illegal things are dump.They have some permanent customer who is supplying drugs/girls to the guest.All students are working more than 50 hours and getting cash in hand with no tax or ni deduction.Some has fake payslips.Hotels has no security during day and night.

well i think UK immigration system is so bad.Because one guy who lives in LONDON and he married with a girl who is from Nithvia.He paid money to that girl and her boyfriend for this marriage.The one of witnesses of this marriage is that guy who never been in Nithvia, he is student in UK.But so strange i do not know what kind of rules UK have.They gave that guy 5 year visa i think two weeks ago.They did check that base of this case is fake because of witness.Good news is that now the guy who was witness he is also gonna do same process means one girl form Nithvia came for him.so he will also apply for visa after some months.
