I would like to pursue a career in health and social care industry and was actually interviewed for a home carer job but the care manager told me that since my spouse settlement visa comes with a condition of “no recourse to public funds”, i can’t have a free NVQ training yet. Well if that’s the case, when would i be entitled to a free NVQ or QCF training course then?

Hello.

I would like to follow a course in NVQ 2 in health and socialcare since I am already working as a carer. Can anybody tell me where I can find a college that offers free NVQ course for those on spouse visa. I haven’t got ILR yet.

I HAVE HSMP VISA AND I AM VOLUNTEERING AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON PLS AM I ELIGIBLE TO NVQ OR ANY OTHER FREE COURSES AS MY VISA READS NO RECOURSE TO PUBLIC FUND. IF NOT WHAT ARE THE WAYS TO GO ABOUT THE COURSE.

Am a distance learning student in university of Leicester and have already done a course in Home learning college awaiting my certificate in EDI.Do I have to do again an NVQ2 or three to become a senior carer Or Is equivalent with the certificate,since I want a sponsorship license

i was wondering if anyone knows what an NVQ level 3 in care is equivalent to in USA. I am a UK citizen. I am also a permanent resident in USA. so wondered if anyone could help me on this one please?

You did not state whether or not you have a Yellow Card at present. You could register as a student on a Yellow Cards, however, as you are Romanian (EU Citizen) who has been living in the UK for two years, you may have other options and should take advice from an OISC registered immigration adviser.

I am a romanian national working as self employed in UK for the last two years. I want to register for NVQ level 2 in health and social care. Where do I start from? do I have to first register with the home office as student then look for a care assistant job and then register on the NVQ? I am really confused. Dont know where to start from. Thanks
