hello,

I’m a student in UK.I’m applying for Tier 4 student visa extension. My post graduate course finishes in June however since I am resubmitting my dissertation, it finishes in september. My visa expires on 30/09/09. I want to apply for PSW. But since i will not have an award by September, I’ll need to apply for Tier 4.
My main questions is how much do i need to show in my bank account for me and my dependent husband, my tuition fees are paid for under scholarship scheme by my University. If I apply in early August, do
i need to maintain that required amount for 28 days?

thanks

You should apply as soon as possible, but make sure your application is 100% correct as there is little time left should your application get rejected. For instance, do you have the correct maintenance funds in place for the last three months? Have you worked the legal amount of hours? Have you attended classes and made satisfactory progress? Why are you extending your student visa? Is your college registered as Tier 4 Sponsors? You should consider taking professional advice from a specialist adviser – OISC registered, as we see many failed applications which come to us after the visa has expired (this usually means the student has to return home and apply again in their country under Tier 4). If you application is under consideration you can remain in the UK.

greetings,

I was once refused as applicant for Student Visa Tier 4 for our School was suspended due to non-compliace for some requirements. I gained 10pts for my show money due to my sponsors and as Shareholder and depositor of a Cooperative Institution here in our locality. I was recently informed that my show money is no longer acceptable and was advised to transfer it to a Commercial Bank. Unfortunately, this could deplete my shares. Please informed me if my shareholding and deposit in a Cooperative Institution is still acceptable as my Show Money. Thank you very much

I’m Luz from Philippines, I’m applying for a student visa in London. I applied visa twice in VFS Ayala Makati, Philippines but unfortunately the visa officers refused me. The 1st reason was lack of documents and in my 2nd refusal they did not see my 2 PNB bank certificates that can support my financial needs, and now I already applied my appeal or administrative review in British Embassy. I send it through courier and its been a month after that I sent my Administrative Review and until now I’m still waiting for their response. I just want to know if how long I should wait for their answer. I don’t have any doubt in my documents because I already fully stated my reasons and I it was all genuine documents. Its been a long time of waiting and i just want to know my status.
thanks and god bless

Dear sir/madam,
i have been refused teir4 on the groud”you require £7200 as maintenance fund in your bank whilst your bank statement shows that you have £5119″. As i have applied for a 6 month course so i only require £4800. So now my question is that do i need to keep that much money in my account till the time i get any decision or now it dosent require to keep this money?? And what may be the outcome of this review request??
Thank you, hoping for a reply from your side
