hi, just read the new law regarding work permit holders & im one of those… i came here last nov 20 2006 & my working visa as a senior care assistant will last on july 2013, does this mean that i dont have any chance to settle here in uk? pls acknowledge.. thank you!

HOW WILL I BE AFFECTED IN THIS NEW LAW?, I AM EXPECTING TO OBTAIN MY (ILR) INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN JANUARY 2010. AND YOU HAVE MENTIONED THAT THE LAW WILL TAKE EFFECT NOT BEFORE 2011. THANK YOU AND MORE POWER.

my wife came here on a work permit visa in December 2004. She obtained a new 5 year working permit and visa last January 2009. When would she be eligible for ILR?
If the new citizenship bill will be approved, would it effect us as well (those already in the country) or does it only effect those yet to come? thank you and more power…
