The UK Border Agency has announced that revised versions of the application form and guidance for the Highly Trusted sponsors licence (under Tier 4 of the points-based system) have been published today.
The changes ‘clarify some of the questions that the sector has raised around required information and reflects changes to the current operation procedures’, the border agency said.
You can download the updated policy guidance and application form from the UKBA website. All new applications for a Tier 4 Highly Trusted sponsor licence must be submitted on this form version if made on or after 16 June 2010.
The Highly Trusted sponsor category of Tier 4 licence was introduced by former Home Secretary Alan Johnson on the Andrew Marr show in February when he announced ‘tough new rules’ for overseas students.
