I was in UK 2004 TO 2006. I came back to India in August 2006 but I couldn’t go back to UK due to some family circumstances. I didn’t claim my tax refund for the year 2006 financial year. Can I claim my tax refund for the above said period now? If yes, then what would be the procedure and How much is your fees?

Hi,I will go back to india next month.I am planning to come back for study after one year.If I got tax back now is there any problem to come back after one year please…….?

No, if you entitled to a tax refund and claim overpaid taxes back you are not breaking any rules. Claiming tax refunds has no bearing on your immigration status. If you have worked and had tax deducted, chances are you may have paid too much and could be entitled to legally claim a refund. See:
