Migrants to rally in London 4 May 2009

Strangers in to Citizens have organised a migrants rights rally in London on Monday 4 May.

Strangers into Citizens  are calling on the Government to regularise overstayers and illegal immigrants.

The rally, supported by various migrant groups and Churches will start from Victoria following a church service at Westminster Cathedral,

Speakers include:

Bishop Eric Brown, Bishop Thomas McMahon, RC Bishop of Brentwood; Bishop Tom Butler, Anglican Bishop of Southwark; Rev Ermle Kirby, Methodist Church; Colonel William Cochrane, Salvation Army, Senior Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg. New North London Synagogue. Dr Md Abdul Bari (DG of The Muslim Council of Britain); Allam Rabbani Saab (Suffi). Jack Dromey, (UNITE the Union); Greg Thompson (UNISON); Wes Streeting (NUS). Grogan (MP/Selby, Labour); Chris Huhne (MP, Shadow Home Secretary, Lib Dem); Jean Lambert (Green MEP). Ms Christine Lee (Confed of Chinese Associations); Ibrahim Dogus (Kurdish Community); Pastor Marcos Ravelo (Christian Community London) and Issac Bigio (Iberian American Alliance), Okito Tongomo (Chair Congolese Support Group); Adam Komarnicki (Federation of Poles). Darren Johnson, Chair of London Assembly.

Prospective MEP candidate in the European Elections (4 June 2009) Gene Alcantara will also be attending the march in support of migrants.

infact am very greatful to ear this issues .because i was there since 2005 till date .i lost my mumm in 2008 because am an illegal immgrant i cant go home for vist my people of which am working as career in addition am with my family with one year four month old boy
