Mental Capicity Act resource website launched by SCIE

The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) can touch the lives of millions of people in the UK, particularly those who live with learning disability, dementia or mental health problems and those working and caring for them. 

The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) has launched a new resource website which provides a range of guidance materials and links to access support services and tools. 

The many thousands of resident and migrant Care Workers and Nurses working in this field of care must make themsleves fully aware of the Mental Capacity Act.
