The Barrio Fiesta is one of the largest Filipino community events in the world, attracting record crowds of 70,000 in 2007. Held over the two days with ample time to eat, celebrate, meet old friends and party, as well as visiting the many stalls and celebrities from the Philippines.

Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez flew and sung to an enthusiastic crowd along with performances from Epi Quezon and Nyoy Volante. Music song and dance from local and national Filipino associations and groups provided a superb back-drop for everyone to enjoy themselves.

Majestic College will be running hourly seminars on studying in the UK.

Charles Kelly and Cynthia Barker, authors of the book “How to Come to the UK to Live Work Study or Visit”, will be discussing:

How to apply for a student visa

Why you should not “show” money in your account

What to do if you are refused a visa
The benefits of a
UK qualification

What are NVQ’s and who will benefit
Work Permit options a
nd much, much more

Everyone welcome, but book early at the Majestic stall to avoid disappointment as places are limited.
