Dear Members & Friends,

The Alliance of Filipino Organisations would like to invite all members and friends to support our Senior Carers Campaign by joining the NHS Rally which will be held on Saturday, 3 November 2007 (see details below).

Our Senior Carers Campaign Committee on its meeting on Saturday, 20th October 2007 agreed to join the rally as this is an opportunity to highlight the issue, raise awareness and  join forces with other workers.

We request our members and friends:

To meet up at 10:45 am at Temple Place (corner of Arundel Street and Temple Place.  Temple Station is on circle and district lines )

Senior carers and health workers to wear your uniforms

To bring your own placards with the following slogans:

            Justice for Senior Carers

               Stop Deportation of Migrant Care Workers

               Care Workers are Important to the NHS

               NHS needs Care Workers

November 3 National Health Service Rally at Trafalgar Square.

· 11am: Assemble at Temple Place, Victoria Embankment, London

· Noon: March through Westminster (will take approx one hour)

· 1pm: Rally in Trafalgar Square

· 1.30-4.30pm: Speakers and entertainment in the Square
