Carers still in short supply in UK as employers look to Romania and Bulgaria

I am currently in the beautiful and sunny city of Bucharest, meeting with leading Romanian manpower agencies.
Thousands of Romanian and Bulgarian workers have entered the UK since they joined the EU in January 2007, according to UK reports.
However, many do not realise that, although they can freely enter the UK, they need a Work Permit in order to work there. See Anna Marie's story.
The Home Office has announced it will review its temporary limits on Bulgarian and Romanian workers with a possibility of lifting them completely.
Until such time visas4students.com is promoting a scheme to help Romanians and Bulgarians come to the UK to study now and work under their "Earn While You Learn" scheme.
Leading recruitment and Immigration firm, Bison Management, will provide jobs in care homes for students and arrange for "Yellow Card" permits. Students can WORK FULL TIME when taking vocational courses such as the NVQ in Health and Social Care course.
The company arranges a study programme based on NVQ courses as well as paid full time work placements. They also assist with:
Accommodation
Opening a bank account
NI Numbers
Welfare support
"Yellow Card" student visa
College placement for NVQ 2 and 3 courses in Health and Social Care.
Bison has been established since 1998 and will work with reputable agencies in Bulgaria and Romania to meet the high demand for care workers in the UK.
There are immediate vacancies for 50 people.
Candidates should be able to speak English and have some care experience, although training will be provided.
For details see www.visas4students.com or watch a video about the scheme.
