‘Oversight of the Immigration Advice Sector’ public consultation

The UK Border Agency is running a public consultation on the ’shape and future regulation of the immigration advice and services sector. 

Anyone involved in or who have had experience in obtaining immigration advice should take part in this consultation. 

Immigration advisers should at very least read the consultation document, which outlines the likely changes in the way the sector will be regulated in light of the 2007 Legal Services Act. 

Responses should be sent by 6 August 2009.
